RESEARCH INTEREST:

Research area is genetic molecular markers and population genetics of various organisms, including fish, crustaceans, and plants (bananas and Centella asiaticapegaga).  I am also interested in studying various biological aspects of fish,  both freshwater and marine species, such as reproductive biology, age determination, larval development, stomach contents and feeding habits, Omega-3 contents, and the effects of organic pollutants (PAHs and ERODE) on fish.
